The Africa Travel Concierge Definitions

  • “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to The Africa Travel Concierge Pty Ltd (TAT Concierge), an Australian company based in Western Australia.

  • “You” and “your” refer to the client or customer engaging our services.

  • “Services” refer to travel concierge services provided by TAT Concierge, including but not limited to itinerary planning, bookings, and travel arrangements.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3. Bookings and Payments

3.1 Deposit and Payment Terms

  • A deposit of 20% is required to confirm your booking.

  • The balance of the payment is due 60 days before departure.

  • Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking, with applicable cancellation fees.

3.2 Pricing

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, supplier price changes, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you of any changes before final payment.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1 Cancellation by You

  • If you cancel your booking, the following cancellation fees apply:

    • 90 days or more before departure full refund less the booking fee to cover administrative costs.

    • less than 90 days before departure 50 percentage of the total booking cost.

    • 30 days or less no refund is provided.

4.2 Cancellation by Us

  • In the rare event we must cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full refund of any payments made to us. This does not include expenses incurred independently, such as visa or vaccination costs.

5. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics, or natural disasters. In such cases, we will use all reasonable efforts to assist with alternate arrangements, subject to supplier terms and availability.

6. Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure your passport, visas, and vaccinations comply with the requirements of the countries you will visit.

  • Provide accurate personal and travel information.

  • Adhere to local laws and regulations during your trip.

  • Obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.

7. Liability and Disclaimer

  • We act as an agent for third-party suppliers (e.g., airlines, hotels, and tour operators) and are not liable for their acts, omissions, or defaults.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for our services.

8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

  • If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us in writing at info@theafricatravelconcierge.com. We will aim to resolve the issue promptly.

  • Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms will be resolved in accordance with the laws of Western Australia.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Western Australia.

10. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The latest version will be available on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
